Practice, as they say, makes perfect. But how do aspiring surgeons and trauma surgeons get practice before their first time at the operating table? They use training models from SYNBONE AG, the global market leader in orthopedic surgical training models and training systems for medical professionals. Their brand-new hand model features detailed bone structures, tendons, arteries, muscles, and skin. In fracture reduction exercises, the surgeons treat the hands with plates, screws, and external fixators. Surgical performance on the training model is subsequently reviewed using computed tomography.

We had the opportunity to provide the initial CT data for this product before its launch. SYNBONE used the data both as the primary data for their first model and to confirm that the imaging was consistent with a human X-ray image.

MessX scans, digitizes, analyzes, and measures. And helps ensure that industrial components and objects earn a reputation for being “completely reliable”.
